Happy Birthday Ireland!
I took this image over the weekend, and it is now officially my FAVORITE! What a profile on this kid!

We celebrated her actual birthday at Mel's Diner...
Here she is laughing with Memaw...what a cutie!

The next day, we had a great party at our home with great people, great food, and even better cake!!

Just look at all the stuff she got!!! WOW!

SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!! (and so far we've had lots of fun!)

Happy Spring friends and family!! We got our annual Easter Bunny picture taken at The Grove yesterday.(notice I said "we" she wouldn't take it without us so here we are!)
April is here, and I must say that March was definitly a fun filled month! We had so many neat things going on, some planned and some really cool surprises...
Like when we ran into the one and only MEL BROOKS!!!
What a great man! He was so sweet and kind, and was in LOVE with Ireland...maybe he could've made her a star...oh well, I guess we will never know! Okay, here is what else happened.....
We had the opportunity to cheer on the runners in the LA Marathon, that was really cool and inspiring to watch, maybe one day we will join them.

We also took a trip to Legoland for an early birthday present for Ireland....she just LOVED it!! It was so much fun for all of us!!!

We also went to our first country club birthday party. My goodness was it fancy....and lots of fun!
She waited her turn like a good girl to ride the train....
...and, they even had her favorite things to eat, lots of fruit, chicken nuggets and FRENCH FRIES!
(or as she call them, "ha hies")

Here are some more Easter pictures...

It's Potty Time!

So we are now starting the potty training process. I have heard and read lots of different theories on this subject, so I am proceeding with caution. However, for the past couple weeks we have had lots of success! Most of the time she wakes up with a dry diaper (which is a good sign that she is definitly ready for this), so what we do is we hurry to the potty and sit and listen for the little tinkle sound and the cute song her princess potty plays when she goes. Of course stickers are a MUST! It's amazing how a little thing like that can distract her and keep her on there! Usually, we hear the song immediatly, and she says "pee pee?"  (It sounds to me like it is a question) And we celebrate! YIPEE!! She is doing really well, and I am taking it slow...no pressure on my side. She will have it down before we know it!
In a couple of weeks, she will be done with her first semester in school. We can't wait to start another class and meet more friends! She really has been having a lot of fun being creative and I have discovered that she is a bit of a daredevil! She has so much fun on the slide, but you can tell that she is a little scared at first.  After a few minutes she finally just goes for it and laughs the whole way down!!!

Here are some more candid shots...

Love you all.
