So we are now starting the potty training process. I have heard and read lots of different theories on this subject, so I am proceeding with caution. However, for the past couple weeks we have had lots of success! Most of the time she wakes up with a dry diaper (which is a good sign that she is definitly ready for this), so what we do is we hurry to the potty and sit and listen for the little tinkle sound and the cute song her princess potty plays when she goes. Of course stickers are a MUST! It's amazing how a little thing like that can distract her and keep her on there! Usually, we hear the song immediatly, and she says "pee pee?" (It sounds to me like it is a question) And we celebrate!
YIPEE!! She is doing really well, and I am taking it slow...no pressure on my side. She will have it down before we know it!
In a couple of weeks, she will be done with her first semester in school. We can't wait to start another class and meet more friends! She really has been having a lot of fun being creative and I have discovered that she is a bit of a daredevil! She has so much fun on the slide, but you can tell that she is a little scared at first. After a few minutes she finally just goes for it and laughs the whole way down!!!
